Working Mums Battersea opened in 2015 and is set within the beautiful historic building known as ‘The Old Court’, an ideal setting for a nursery.
We are a 66-place nursery featuring two cosy baby rooms on the ground floor. Discoverers, for pre-walking babies, accommodates up to six children. Explorers, for walking babies up to two years old, welcomes up to twelve children and opens directly into our lovely courtyard garden, complete with a large walk-in sandpit.
Upstairs, our stunning high-ceilinged room with a charming mezzanine is home to our Inventors group, for children aged two and above. With a capacity of 35, this is our largest room and a space where endless fun, creativity, and learning take place. Next door is our pre-school room, affectionately called Little Einsteins, where we focus on school readiness and can welcome up to thirteen children.
All of our rooms are thoughtfully designed for their respective age groups. Bright, airy, and filled with natural light from large windows, each room provides a warm and stimulating environment.
With a child-centred curriculum and an enthusiastic, long-standing team who value strong partnerships with parents, Working Mums offers a true home- from-home experience for the children and families who join us.
Our management team

Kizzie Marbrook, Nursery Manager
Kizzie began her early years journey in 2018 after raising her three children. She spent six years working in an outdoor nursery, progressing from practitioner to Manager. Kizzie has always had a strong passion for childhood development and is a committed advocate for outdoor learning, in- the-moment planning and is dedicated to promoting resilience and independence in children.
Kizzie enjoys studying childhood theorists and applying this knowledge to her everyday practice, particularly Bowlby’s attachment theory and the Curiosity Approach. She values being present and fully involved with both the children and staff on the floor, bringing her enthusiasm, knowledge, and hands-on approach to every aspect of the setting.

Tanika Hibbert, Deputy Nursery Manager
Tanika brings a fun, enthusiastic, and bubbly energy to her work, qualities that have shaped her 17- year career in the childcare sector. Her passion for early years began while working with the traveller community, whose inspiration set her on the path she continues to follow today.
Tanika takes great pride in delivering fun, engaging, and imaginative training opportunities that support staff in developing their skills, helping them better engage, teach, and nurture children in early years settings. With her extensive experience and dedication, and a strong commitment to high-quality practice, Tanika plays a valuable role in supporting both children and practitioners within the nursery.
